Well, this came as a shocker to me today.. I realized that my command over the English Language has gone for a toss, either because of FB or because of twitter or because I'm using too many expletives. Whenever I used to interact with folks earlier, they used to commend me for my language.. and I used to take pride in being an alumnus of the CFTRI school in Mysore.. One of "THE BEST SCHOOLS EVER!!!". It so happened that if someone had deleted my phone number and I started interacting with them in English, they used to recognize me immediately... Probably, the first ever name they used to utter in a reply to an sms would be "Is this Sukumar"? Now, it is happening the other way around.. They never take my name.. and If I start sms'ing them in Kannada, they realize it is me! It is not that I am not happy with this fact..
