Fei Fie Fo Fum......... Nothin new :( Ho!! Hmmmm!!!!

Ganesh is making me realise that life is just fun... sometimes, you make fun of it and sometimes, it makes fun of you! Yesterday, it made nice fun of me...

Yesterday, someone invites me for a disc and I had alternate plans for today evening in which I was supposed to show a cousin around Bangalore. So, I ditched the offer. A childhood friend of mine had to visit the US and would not be returning for atleast 2 years but due to some unavoidable circumstances, I could not send him off at the airport! I end up having an argument with one of my best frenz when i met her after almost 6 months. She stays in Delhi and had come over for an interview. I cud have rather kept quiet and let her speak, but me and my big mouth would rarely listen to my mind.. they just continued blabbering and the result was a worthless argument... Though, at the end of it, none of us minded, none of us felt bad.. (or am i assuming stuff here, just coz I did not feel bad? ) And I had taken an hours permission from my office to visit her.

At office, there were some startling revelations too.. more than 17 people in my team of 22 don't know a basic stuff of handling a sales device and they are supposed to train completely unknown people how to use this device... I was really shocked and amazed at the same time and also felt it amusing as to what the fcuk i was doing all these days with this wonderful team of mine.. we've decided to give them 7 days time and after that, in case they don't come up to the mark, we'll be putting them on the bench and not taking them out on the rollout!

Yesterday was Sankasti and I was fasting just coz of Ganesh. I used to have a complete fast earlier, but yesterday, I drank some water in the first half of the morning. I dunno if it was because of that or because I like HIM that I survived an accident last night at Hudson Circle.. Nothing actually happened but there was this person speeding and jumping a signal and I started moving forward when the signal was Green... He came and banged into my bike and fell on the street and I parked my bike aside the road.. Nothing happened to my bike, Nothing happened to me but a few scratches.... But why did the accident happen? coz I drank water or why did nothing happen? coz I like HIM? Would give my bike out for servicing today in order to make it ready for tomorrow and Sunday's expedition.

I rode back carefully enough and reached home by 2215 hrs. Today, I am suffering a lot of pain in my right shoulder and right upper torso (not again!!!) The first time it happened, it was so severe that i could not hold a pen, let alone a mouse and I could not type.. It was due to Cervical Disc Prolapse and I have spent more than 15 days in a hospital with a traction of almost 8 kgs hanging from my neck! -- This was when Dad was alive :)

Anyways, whatever happens happens for the guud.. I was supposed to give my bike out for servicing about a month back, but had postponed it.. Today is the right time to give my bike out for servicing.... Lemme check the quality of the ride after the Castrol Bike Zone service... and what's a better way to check the quality of the ride than taking it out on a long ride? That's precisely what I am planning to do.. take it out till Nandi Hills to celebrate the Friendship day on Sunday. Yeah Yeah.. some people never change and I am one of them!!! No matter how many accidents I face, I love my bike and I love biking... It gives me that kind of a thrill that no matter in what kind of stage my mind is, I'll feel exhilarated.

And in case something terrible had happened to my bike or to me which results in me not using the bike for more than 10 days , it would have been a demeantor attack.... I have already survived the Demeantor's Kiss when I met wid my first accident and broke my left wrist - a duration of 45 days without my bike... :( [As per JK Rowling, none would survive the Demeantor's Kiss... Am I a Harry Potter in the making???]

Secularism -- Majority and Minority

This post is not dedicated to anyone and is just a forwarded email which has been copied and pasted over here... and i am forced to assume that this is the truth! I had posted earlier on the same topic and here i go again! Talking abt majority and minority as a part of the comments in my previous post, i was forced to put this in points below: 1. Do you consider that - Sanskrit is communal and Urdu is secular, Mandir is Communal and Masjid is Secular, Sadhu is Communal and Imam is secular,VandeMatharam is communal and Allah-O-Akbar is secular, Shriman is communal and Mian is secular, Hinduism is Communal and Islam is Secular? 2. Why Godhra is blown out of proportion, when no-one talks of the ethnic cleansing of 4 lakh Hindus from Kashmir? 3. When Christian and Muslim schools can teach Bible and Quran, Why Hindus cannot teach Gita in our schools? 4. When Haj pilgrims are given subsidy, why Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai & Kailash Mansarovar are taxed? 5. If Muslims & C...

The Truth - "Kannada Barutha"??? Kannada barbeku!

"Kannada Barutha??", ah! I am sure most of you in Bangalore would have heard this, but what is "kannada barutha?" here it goes. Bangalore the IT capital of India , the silicon city and now a Metro city opened its gates to almost all kinds of people. Very evidently the recent poll census proved that there are only 47% of original inhabitants in Bangalore/bengaluru. The life style of the city has seen a gradual change with Pizza Corners replacing MTR's, classy eat out's replacing "Vidyarthi Bhavans" and flashy pub's replacing all our "Mahalakshmi wine shops". "Change is inevitable" from the days of BEML, HAL and BHEL to INFOSYS, WIPRO; Bangalore has a new look now on the world map. Gone are the days where a typical Sunday for any bangalorean was a nice romantic walk on the pavements of "LALBAGH...", "rave idli and coffee.." at the nearest yet old looking MTR and a wonderful Annavra film either at Santosh o...

Love or Infatuation

Infatuation is instant desire. It is one set of glands calling to another. Love, on the other hand, is friendship that has caught fire. It takes root and grows - one day at a time. Infatuation is marked by a feeling of insecurity, you are excited and eager, but not genuinely happy. There are nagging doubts, unanswered questions, little bits and pieces about your beloved that you would just as soon not examine too closely. It might spoil the dream. Love is the quiet understanding and mature acceptance of imperfection. It is real, it gives you strength and grows beyond you - to bolster your beloved. You are warned by his/her presence, even when is away. Long distances do not separate you. You want him/her near, but near or far, you know he/she is yours and you can wait. Infatuation says, "We must get married right away. I can't risk losing him/her." Love says, "Be patient, Don't Panic. He/she is yours. Plan your future with confidence." Infatuation...
